Here, the Sangiovese grape, well-known for late ripening, finds   ideal conditions for its fullest expression thanks to the famously favourable climatic conditions in Montalcino (prevalently very clear weather, little rainfall, practically no fog and plenty of breezes) which guarantee the best conditions for growing healthy grapes.
